Issue Position

In Congress, I will not stop until we secure the border. A country cannot endure if it does not protect itself. We need to build the fence, secure the border, and enforce the law. Our porous border is an abomination. We send troops to Afghanistanand Iraq, yet cannot protect our own citizens at home. A nuclear weapon could easily be walked across the border. It is documented that Jihadists partner daily with Mexican drug cartels in order to traffic across our border. The Left frames the immigration issue from a social perspective. Without exception everyone sees it from the economic perspective. However, I am concerned just as much about it from a national security perspective.
